To underscore the serious nature of this program, Walking Your Faith candidates in state and federal prisons will apply through the chaplaincy. It is expected that each candidate will be an exemplary inmate - a role model both in appearance and in personal conduct. Participants will be required to attend the scheduled class each week as well as to complete all homework assignments.

Inmates in state and federal prisons desiring to enter the Walking Your Faith Program will undergo a strict screening and selection process which will include meeting the following minimum criteria:

• They have made a personal faith commitment.
• They are willing to participate in religious studies.
• They have demonstrated significant spiritual growth.
• They have been misconduct-free for one year prior to application.
• They have received the recommendation from the Chaplain.
• They have signed the "Participation Agreement".
